First Trip to the Zoo!

On Monday Brynlee was 5 months old!!! So we went to the Zoo for the first time!!! OK it wasn't because she is 5 months old it just happened to fall on that day lol. It was LOTS of fun!!!

It was a beautiful day, the perfect temperature, the perfect weather! When we got to the zoo, in lou of sunscreen we stopped in the gift shop to buy Brynlee a little hat! Blue with little froggies. There where SO MANY baby animals at the zoo ranging from a one month old elephant to a year old orangutans. We saw a baby camel, a baby hippo, a baby peacock, baby monkeys, baby giraffes, baby zebras... See if you can spot some of the babies in this post!

So Mom went to target in the morning before going to the zoo and got a wonderful pack! You can wear it on the front when they are small and on your back when they get bigger! Brynlee was high enough up that I never had to worry about weather she could see the animals or not, weather she was comfortable or not, getting her in and out of a stroller, none of that! I love this pack it is my new best friend. Brynlee never cried or whimpered on this trip to the zoo she was quiet and content the whole time! She did get excited once or twice and kicked a little but that's it. This baby monkey came right up to the fence when it saw little Brynlee he showed off for quiet a while before he got board with us.These big guys where mommy's favorite! Mommy, Mamaw, and Bop thought the tiger's where cool...Brynlee preferred the water fall in the Tiger pen.
Then Brynlee saw these guys....
Harbor Seals & Sea Lions.. She was mesmerized. They kept swimming right past the glass, Brynlee got excited and kicked and even made a tiny squeal... the only other time she made any noise was when Bop was playing with her.

Then we saw the baby giraffes

And Brynlee got tiered

While Brynlee slept we saw baby Zebras....

Hippopotamuses

Orangutans (can you spot the 1 year old baby?)...

About the time we got to the orangutans she woke up.

She saw Gorillas

More water!

And we ended where we started with the stinky Flamingos!

Thank you Mamaw and Bop for an Amazing first trip to the Zoo. I told Brynlee she could have her first Birthday here at the zoo!
