Brynlee is going to her first sleep over tonight! Mom is dropping her off with Grammy and Grandpa this morning and will pick her up late tomorrow late night or Sunday morning. Why is Brynlee spending the night at her grandparents house? Mommy is having a TIME OUT!
Today and tomorrow it Time Out For Women and mommy has been given the opportunity to go with her friend Vandee (THANK YOU!). As a kid I always LOVED EFY, our Trek, and the dance festival. It always made me feel so good to go for a few days and feel the spirit and have neat experiences and come back feeling rejuvenated and spiritually connected again. Church every Sunday is great but sometimes it becomes monotonous and just part of your weekly routine. You run around all morning trying desperately to get all the children ready for church so you can be there in time to get your seat before any one else just because it's easier not to have to search for a seat for your family. then you get there and spend the whole sacrament meeting trying to keep your children quiet and occupied only catching a paragraph or two of what is being said, sometimes not even that.
This is going o be amazing! 1 evening and one morning dedicated to learning and feeling the spirit and meeting other people and no distractions. That is Just what this mom needs. I love my daughter, and yes she does go to grandma and Grandpa's so mom can have a break but not having my husband home to take her when i need a shower or need to clean the house or pack for a trip. All those little things that a partner helps with without you ever realizing it, it has begun to take a toll on my sanity so Thank you so much Vandee this is Just what I need and Thank you mom and dad for taking Brynlee for the weekend. James I love you so much and can't wait to have you home! Stay Safe baby and know that things are being held down here at home. Maybe only by a hair or to but they are being held down lol. MUAH!

Oh yeah James update. He found out when his leave will be... some time at the end of Feb/beginning of March. He will return to Iraq for a few weeks, after 2 weeks of R&R, then will return most likely at the end of April (I know what your thinking and don't ask because I don't know) go through up to 2 weeks + of demob and then to Alb, NM for the welcome home Ceremony then Home!!! Only 18-19 weeks! (approx.)
