After work on Friday Brynlee and I headed to AZ for the weekend. James had Drill and Brynlee and I wanted to go to AZ to watch Taylor ride Dallas in the Navajo County Fair. We got into town around 10-10:30pm and the next morning Taylor and I where up at 2:45 am to load up and head to Holbrok. We where in Holbrok parked, unloaded and getting ready
before the sun came up
Dally looked SO GOOD!

Taylor did a good job showing for the most part, even though she d
idn't place in anything.

Her first class was a halter class and they looked great!

Then a bare back class where they did really well and looked pretty good except that they trotted when they where
supposed to Canter. then she had several saddled classes and as the day wore on Dallas and Taylor started to get more and more agitated with each other. Taylor still road well and Dallas still looked beautiful but they
stopped working as a team and didn't do as well in the rest of
their classes. though they did do pretty well in
their trail class

My mom showed up with
Brynlee after Taylor's 3rd class and got to watch the rest of the classes she competed in that day.
Brynlee loved being around all those horses and has become quite the little cowgirl.

We had brought Jet along for the ride so he could get used to being around all that show
commotion that goes on since he would be showing on the following Wednesday.
Brynlee enjoyed sitting on
him and even started trying to get off the horses by herself this time around!
Brynlee has found a friend in Taylor's friend
Colten she loved following him around, sitting with him and imitating him.

After 5 of the 7 classes the rain came pouring down. I spent the storm running back and forth between my mom and
Brynlee and my sister and terrified horse. Thankfully we all came out of the storm safe and sound most where dry but the horses,
Colten, and I where
soaked clear through. Taylor decided that
because her last class had gone so badly and she felt it dangerous to ride in the soaked arena she wasn't sure she wanted to continue.

After hearing
that they where going to wait 30
mins for the arena to dry and it already being 2:30 in the afternoon she decided she wanted to pack up and head home. So my mom left to go to our friend Madison's wedding and we cleaned up and headed home. After dropping off and settling the horses we went back to the house and cleaned up so we could go to the reception. On out way out it looked like the beautiful out side reception would get rained out...

Just before getting there we got a call from Taylor's friend who told us that after waiting a while for things to dry up they had announced that they would continue the
last two of
taylor's classes Wednesday morning. So we had left at a good time. The picture below is pretty blurry but it is of
Madi and Justin's first Dance as a married couple she looked beautiful!

I decided that
Brynlee and I where going to head home this night so we left the reception early with lighting
threatening all the way around. I talked to my mom later that night and she told me that it started to rain right at the time the reception was to end and with the help of all the people in attendance they where able to get all the
presents and decorations in before they got ruined. it was a perfect reception! That night
Brynlee and I got as far as Gallop before I was too tiered to go on and
Brynlee was screaming. James convinced me to stop and stay at a hotel and continue my drive the next morning. It was a fun trip and we made it home safe and sound on Sunday morning.
