Blogs....

I have been looking at lots of different blogs, some are educational like cooking blogs and blogs that inform you about all sorts of different things. Some blogs are just a diary of what a family is doing like a very detailed Christmas letter that is sent more than once a year to help your family keep up with your live. Some are spacial blogs to children or relatives to help record memories so your children can read them later. Some are there just because some one has nothing better to do. Some of these are entertaining for others to read, some create links between people because of similar situations. All these blogs are great for different wants.

I have recently read a few blogs where the people write of their very deep feelings and experiences. I have occasionally thought about doing this myself because there is so much going on in my life right now. Not bad things but small challenges in my life. As I debated about doing this and read other's blogs I realized how much courage those people that write so deeply have to have. They are writing their feelings and emotions and opening themselves up to criticism from those who do not understand but at the same time allowing for uplifting thoughts and encouragement who have been through what they are going through and understand.

At church on Sunday one of the lessons talked about how to respond to negative attention and things we don't agree with and we determined the best way to confront Ideas we don't like or agree with is to ignore them. Rather than trying to start an argument over weather some one is right or not. This is why when you try to push your beliefs on another person you are more likely to have more negative confrontations than to convince the person of anything your preaching being correct. Just take some time to think about it and next time you see a blog or message speaking with deep feeling, if you agree give uplifting words and if you do not agree consider just clicking the x in the top right hand corner of your screen.... Just an idea.
