Friday James had a military related class he had to attend and when he got home and finished packing we headed to AZ. We decided this time to take a different way than normal. We decided that since the weather was nice and we where all going together that rather than going through Grants, Gallup, and Holbrook like usual we would go through Quemado, Springerville, and over the Mountain! It was a nice change of scenery but the phone signal is horrible so I would never go that way without James. When we arrived we checked into our Hotel, grabbed some Sam's, and went to my parent's house. They where still out at dinner with another family so we ate in the quiet and played with the dogs. When we finished eating we turned on the TV and Brynlee started to ask where every one was.....
SO we let her call them!
They came home and the dogs still jumped all over James..
That night we stayed at the hotel and the next day we played with Noah, Sawyer, and Quade while my Parents and Granny went with Austin to the Temple to get his endowments.
When they got back that afternoon Grandpa worked with the boys and Brynlee on their batting skills then Brynlee got Grandpa to Jump on the trampoline with her.My Dad used to do this with me when I was younger (picture above)
Later Grandma and Grandpa Jones showed up with Uncle Scott, Aunt Gerri, Rich, and their Daughter Jessi. It took a little while but Jessi and Brynlee became quick friends! They tried to spend the night together at Yaya's house but Jessi was just too excited to really sleep.
The Next Day Noah and Sawyer where being Ordained as Deacons, so we all all put on our Sunday best!
After church we changed again and the girls played while everyone else fixed dinner. We had Hay stacks for dinner and cherry cheese cake for desert, because it was Gerri's birthday.
Then it was time to go. Jessi and Brynlee both Cried but James had to work the next day at 6am so we had to leave. We all said our good byes and we hit the road. We made it home just before 1am. It was a long trip home but it was really good to see everyone again. It was also a very good way to spend the last of our tax return!
