And the Project Begins

As many of you know, my world is full of women...
My Wonderfull wife, our ever so cute daughter, our super fuzzy puppy... and then there's the Jeep. More than a few people have accused me of buying the Jeep as my form of mid-life crisis, and yes i agree, it was the beginning... The only problem is Jeep really stands for Just Empty Every Pocket! Because no mater what you do, you are never truly done with the endless projects...
So this is what i had to start with, a roughly stock 1994 YJ Wrangler. The previous owner had put larger than stock tires on her (32") . A hard top was added by my father, while i was in Iraq. And a suspension lift was ordered last year, and has been hiding in my buddies garage until yesterday...
After sneaking into the auto hobby shop on base, and a few hours of busting our knuckles and cussing like drunken sailors we were able to complete the install of a 4" Rough Country suspension lift.
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, well I will let you decide. In the picture above there is about two inches between the tire and the fender flare, below there is over six inches... so i think we have a good starting point. Soon we will be looking at new tires and wheels... I'm also attempting to design a new dash and bumpers so we will have to wait and see how that works out...
