I'm Renting From Idiots!

okay so this is just another stupid decision in a long line of stupid decisions made by the powers that be that run this apartment complex. We have had no real problems thus far other than stupid decisions that are usually minor inconveniences, but this one is a little more than minor....

1. The first dumb decision was to "finish fixing the balcony roofs" I guess at some point before we moved in they started fixing the balcony roof/floor in the town homes around the property. They "finished" fixing them after the rains had already come and gone and damage had already been done.

2. Dumb decision #2 Paint all the buildings and fences on property in Sept when it is cold and paint takes extra time to dry.

3. Hire idiots to paint said buildings. The note said they would be painting for 1 day then told us to remove everything off our patios before the guys started painting and that they where not liable for any thing ruined or damaged by the painters. Well I brought in all my stuff and it was in my house for 3 days! Day one they stucco repaired cracks and got mud and stucco all over! Then nothing happened when I thought they where going to paint. After 3 days we got another notice that said they would be painting for 2 days and to bring our stuff in again! I hadn't ever taken my stuff out because they hadn't painted! so day one they put plastic on all windows, that drove me nuts. mid day day 2 the plastic was removed and that night when the painters left I put my stuff back out. The painters have come and gone several times since then doing trim and such. When they where doing trim they dripped red paint on my beautiful new patio chair that wasn't even under the building where they where painting. My neighbor told me they ruined all her stuff because she was unable to bring it all in when they started. Also there are red splatters on the wall out front and a huge red puddle of paint in front of my neighbors apartment and the bush has been splattered red as well. The best we can figure a guy must have fallen off his latter. James said he saw guys running with a ladder so he must have been hanging off the balcony. I don't believe he was injured but I also have not seen them clean up any of the mess he made they just covered the puddle with card board for a day or 2.

4. NOW, today I got a notice on my door at noon that told me that Nov 14th (a Monday) maintenance will be coming around to paint the front entrance to each town home in our building and the next, here's the problem....
1. They want some one to be home but they are doing it between 10am-4pm when most people work!
2. They want us to keep the door OPEN for 2 hours!!! HELLO! It's currently 1:30 pm and only 46 degrees out side! The high today is only supposed to be 49! IT'S NOVEMBER!
So they want people to skip work on Monday so they can come around and paint your door and make you leave it open for 2 hours making your heating bill sky rocket weather you turn it off or keep it on while the door is open and they freeze you and your family out because they couldn't have thought about doing all this painting back when it was nice and warm back in June, July, and Aug!!!! These guys are NUTS!!!!!!!
