Holiday in AZ!

Friday after I got off work in the morning we packed up and got ready to go to AZ for our "In between the Holidays" visit, But first we had to stop and see Nosy (our neighbor's dog)...

Then around 11am we where on the road to AZ. Not just me and Brynlee this time either! It was the whole family!
Of course the first thing Brynlee wanted to do when we got there was play in the snow!



So we borrowed some snow bibs and boots and her and Cowgirl went and played in the snow. Saturday, Brynlee played in the snow some more......
while "the boys" (James, my dad, and Noah)

learned more about guns and cleaned them

Then Papa and Noah took Brynlee out front to "the sledding hill" in the front yard and took Brynlee sledding for the first time ever!

She LOVED it!

Before long every one was in the front of the house watching and sledding. We even had one close call when Brynlee and the sled went straight for the jeep that had been moved out of the way. Brynlee just layed down in the sled as it slipped under the Jeep like it was no big deal! She is so smart!

When Taylor got home we went inside and opened presents! Cowgirl got a new toy and some treats.

Brynlee cleaned up and got a new bed set, 4 movies, a truck and trailer, horses for the trailer, a new dress, boots, a new shirt, 2 pairs of pants, and a horse with a doll and tons of accessories!
This was Mom, Tay, and Brynlee all trying to figure out how get the top open!

James got an amazon gift card, a new PS3 controller, the new ratchet and clank game, and a 10 piece set of new pots and pans!
I got the wise men for my nativity set, a western shirt, a dvd player for the car, a circus animal waffle maker, and a leather Halter for Dallas that has his name on it!
Brynlee was incredibly cute in her new dress and boots that night for the ward party!

She sat with Papa,

and Yaya,

and ran around with all the kids! Then got in line to see Santa!

Again she was quiet and shy but never cried or got scared, she just waited quietly clamped up for her candy cane!

Sunday we returned home and had to immediately set up Brynlee's big girl bed with it's new bed set! Brynlee insisted! It's so cute too!

it even has his name on it!

It was a fun trip and it was so nice to have James go with us! When we came home James' friend Duke had fixed the ignition so we brought her home. The smile on James face as he pulled out of his friend's yard headed for home was so big it went from ear to ear, he looked like a little boy who was taking his favorite dog home after it had been lost for a month! It is secured in the parking lot now and you had better believe we won't be letting her get stolen easily any time soon! We love you Mom and Dad! Thank you so much for all the great gifts and a great weekend, wish we could have stayed longer but that darn weather just likes to act up!
