There was a big wind storm one night and there was a big tree outside James' and my last apartment. In the middle of the night I woke up because of the wind and after laying there for about 5 mins I heard a crack. It sounded like a tree down the block coming down. I got up and looked out the window and saw nothing, so I went back to bed. In the morning when I got up and took Cowgirl out I found THIS:
It's top branches landed approx. 3 yards from my car!!!!
Our neighbor got lucky! That parking space the tree is laying in is his parking spot! He just happened to be out of town.
As you can see it snapped at the roots.
